Happy Flag Day! This morning, I will be joining 11th Ward Alderman Jim Balcer, our wounded military heroes and their families, and representatives from Local 2, the Chicago Fire Department, and the Chicago Police Department for the largest flag ceremony in our country. This ceremony will properly dispose of tattered and worn American, City of Chicago, P.O.W. and M.I.A. flags. All are encouraged to attend. The ceremony begins at 11 at 1439 W. 41st St. (41st St. and Packers Ave.) in the Union Stockyards.
