Happy HalloWine!! All Treat - Wednesday Tasting Night Added We are starting the festivities early this week and so should you. Get a jump on the “spooky good” HalloWines we have in store for you this week. Wednesday night is being added as an additional tasting night this week. 3-7pm. The Nein Lives Riesling leads the way. In addition to the catchy labels, there are three different comical feline themed labels; this wine is an off-dry. On the palate it is slightly creamy, delicately mineral wine with a sweet-sour candy tang. Fragrant apricot fruit is nearly balanced with a tart green-grape sourness. The moon is waxing this week and will be half full Friday night. The Luna Vineyards Pinot Grigio is a perfect complement to star gazing and handing out “trick or treat” candy. This Napa Valley winery makes a full flavored style in comparison to the lighter Italian versions. The first red is criminally tasty and inexpensive. The 19 Crimes Red Blend is from Australia and is a first rate blend made of Shiraz, Grenache and Sangiovese. This easy drinking is long on flavor and medium bodied. Luscious and rich fruit is balanced by layer of vanilla oak. Finishing round and soft with an appeal that you will find hard to resist. The Boneshaker Zinfandel is back on the tasting bar. We first showed this wine about two month ago and it was a tremendous success. Many of you keep coming back for it again and again. We also knew then it was going to be a great Halloween wine with its glow in the dark label. The Boneshaker is from Lodi California, hotbed of many great Zins. Layered with ripe lush flavors, dark black cherries, blackberries, plum and creamy red cherries with a vanilla frame on a chocolatey canvas. Truly, Boneshaking!!!! The BIG red this week is truly a glass staining beast. Seven Sinners “The Ransom” Old Vines Petite Sirah is made from 50+ year vines that are low yielding but make for an intense and concentrated wine. BIG ripe fruit and thick, juicy tannins. The palate is similarly loaded with a great depth of fruit and more spice. Well structured and balanced with a finish that is long and impressive. Please come out and meet our artist of the month Mr. Ryan Waddell. A personal friend of Alannah and Molly, Ryan is a beautiful soul with a loving heart.
