Happy Independence Jamaica... 51years ago, a new direction was drafted, fought for and accepted. Has they stood to watch the rising of the Black, Gold and Green - a sense of hope was felt within to charter a course of self fulfillment, a sense of responsibility was felt to bring Jamaica from where it was to where it should be, a sense of "our own" was felt within to accomplish what we will. Has we celebrate and give thanks - We should remember the course of self fulfillment, we should continue to bring Jamaica from where it was to where it should be and we must ultimately remember and believe that Jamaica is our responsibility... We have come far, fought for and accomplish much, but there is still more to be done in this ever changing world. We are recognized, loved and represented in more than one way. Thou they may criticize and negatively debate us... Jamaica is truly a great nation. #Independently we will rise...
