Happy Labor Day Weekend! The weather is looking up today as a low is spinning just east of us and off the coast...far enough away to not bring us a lot in the way of rain today. In fact, I expect heavy rain to be along the coast with just isolated showers and storms popping up around the Austin area. The best chances for rain will be to the north/northwest of Austin and to the east of I-35, Austin proper should miss out on the wet weather. For most of us itll just be quite warm, but not hot with temps holding in the mid to upper 90s and thankfully not the 100s... Sunday will be a repeat of today with sun, warmth and highs in the mid 90s. A few isolated storms may develop across Central Texas but nothing will be widespread and last long if you do see a shower. The driest and hottest day will be Monday with temps close to 100! Have a safe and happy holiday weekend!!
