Happy May Day! Remember Mansour Osanlou whose tongue was sliced by basij paramilitary forces in Iran to keep quiet and stop advocating for a bus drivers union? He spent many years in jail, was tortured and kept in solitary confinement. In celebration of international workers day I would like to draw your attention to his story and update on his new found freedom in the US and his continued activities for Iranian workers rights from abroad. He has been deemed the Iranian Lech Walesa. Osanlou called for a rally to be held in Iran today despite the regime denying them a permit. Last night 3 labor leaders were arrested in Tehran for collecting 40,000 signatures demanding minimum wage to match inflation. Five others were arrested Kurdistan. Waiting on news to hear what happened today. online.wsj/news/articles/SB10001424052702304250204579433550970613912?tesla=y&mg=reno64-wsj
