Happy Monday Everyone! My daughter and I are going to walk in the JDRF One Walk 10/26/14 @ the Philadelphia Art Museaum for Type 1 Diabetes. My sister, Heidi, was diagnosed with this debilitating disease when she was in college. This disease changed Heidis life forever - she now has to monitor her blood sugars constantly to feel normal. Everyday is a journey because of the ongoing highs and lows resulting from everyday things like eating, stress, activities, and illnesses. JDRF is the BEST hope for bringing a continuous flow of life changing therapies and eventually finding a cure. JDRF is on the brink of ground breaking milestones that will both improve and extend Heidis life. Recently Heidi has been diagnosed with a slew of auto immune diseases that are a direct result of having diabetes. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME RAISE MONEY to find a better way of life for Heidi.
