I keep telling myself ...Self, youve got to make every minute of every day count! but...then I have to go to work and......(ouch). Lord...use me ...anywhere & anyway YOU see fit. AMEN. Today is Day 2 of Commitment; todays message LOVING LIFE; Gods word for today is JOHN 12:23-33 ....He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. The Author Writes; We do not belong here. We are commissioned to stay here, to be salt in a bland world and light in a dark place. But we do not fit in this world. Our citizenship is not in America or Germany, Bolivia or Bhutan. Our passports read ; Heaven. We are agents of HIS government and servants of HIS kingdom. We have been called to sacrifice our lives on behalf of this new nation, in the duty of HIS call. We can choose the little pleasures of life, the bits of gold or tasty food this world offers. We can hold on to the applause and approval of our peers or the popularity we might find in our short lives, but in doing so we forfeit something so much greater. Our God and King will accept no defection. He expects us to sacrifice all on His behalf, to put ourselves second and to make Him first, even above our very lives. AMEN. Talk with God; Lord, I choose You, above all that this life offers. I love You and Your kingdom above all else. Please help me boldly share that with others. How can I live more second today?
