Happy Mothers Day, Forum! I spent the day helping with set stuff for The Merchant of Venice in Brooklyn today. I have a bit of sunburn (and a bit of a tan), wood-stain on my skin, black paint on my hands, sawdust in my shoe. But I had a Snickers Ice Cream Bar (and a beer); I supported something I believe in (with my hands and not dollars cause Im Bone Broke); I got to beat on some crates with some objects…And now I know I am pretty great at distressing wood. On top of all this, I got to know some awesome people while working the day away in the sunshine. All my best wishes for the upcoming production! Obvi.
