Happy New Year! Chief Keziah asked that I reach out to all of you and invite you to an event at the police department. Friday, January 9th is being recognized as Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD). We are excited to welcome supporters of local law enforcement at the Surfside Beach Police Department from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm tomorrow. Everyone is welcome to stop by; say hello and let the officers and staff know how much you appreciate the services that your police department provides. We would be honored if you have time to stop by and visit with us during this event for a few minutes. We recognize that our job would be very difficult, if we did not have such strong support from our citizens and business owners. If you cannot make it by, please know that we also appreciate you for your support of the job that our Officers do. We will remain vigilant and professional in our fight against crime while supporting our Officers attempts to remain safe and avoid deadly attacks.
