Happy New Year!!! I know it has been a while since I have posted to this page however I do pray that you have been consistent with being an advocate for a participant in your Health and Wellness.. I have been asked by several What are you doing to start of the New Year in reference to a detox? My response is - Im not a huge fan of just doing something for the New Year lol I honestly believe that my body is a temple for the Lord. I make a commitment to clean my temple regularly at the minimum twice a month some time more depend on the reason and type of cleanse. So for the ones who are interested I will be fast for 21 days and apart of the fast requires me to only have liquids from 6 am to 6 pm with a light meal for dinner (no beef) It also requires that all forms of synthetic sugars,caffeine, salt and carbohydrates are off limits. The daily detox I have choosen during the 21 days is my FAV !!! This incredible detox drink helps you burn toxic fat, boost metabolism, release toxic waste, encourages weight management, fight diabetes and lower blood pressure. 1 glass of Water (12-16 oz.) 2 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar Squeeze 1 1/2 of a fresh lemon 1 tsp. Cinnamon 1 dash cayenne pepper 1tbls of Raw Honey Directions Blend all ingredients together This Detox Drink will help your body burn toxic fat, cleanse the body on a cellular level, lose weight, fight diabetes and lower blood pressure naturally. I personally use this 1x a day for 5 days. Take a break for 2 - 3 days,during the break increase your H20 intake and resume after day 3. This is what works for me, you are more than welcome to try. Please be advised to check with your Dr. before starting anything new. Apple Cider Vinegar is full of enzymes and good bacteria. It contains acetic acid which has been shown to lower blood pressure up to 6%. It can also help eat up the starches if you do eat grains in your diet. (I use Bragg – Apple Cider Vinegar) Lemon juice helps balance blood sugar and has an alkaline effect on your body helping to regulate ph. It contains, Vitamin C. (I use Fresh Lemons) Cinnamon is one of the best anti-oxidants on the planet. It is the number one herb/spice for balancing blood sugar. Cayenne Pepper has been shown to drop blood pressure, increase metabolism. Raw Honey or Stevia is an all natural sweetener made from the stevia plant and it is a great replacement for any artificial sweeteners.
