Happy New Year! This year has proven to be the most challenging and the most blessed by far. Jack has endured 10 brain surgeries, countless seizures, and many many days in the hospital. Through it all hes been such a happy, resilient little boy that has brought so much meaning to our lives and the lives of all that know and love him, including his many facebook followers. I must say I would not have been able to get through the year without all of the support my family has received down to fundraisers, comments of encouragement on facebook, messages, cards, texts, visits .... but most importantly Jacks smile. Jacks smile makes my heart beat. To know hes happy is all I need. 💛 2014 brought some very special people into our life that we consider life savers and friends in more ways than one. Jacks nurses in Pittsburgh. I love you all. You took the best care of him when we were there (and continue to help me advocate for him). You also kept me sane and became my shoulder to lean on. Im lucky to call you friends. Jacks surgeons and doctors, here and there. Youve really truly made the difference in our lives and we will be forever grateful for your healing hands. Our family. Both sides. Cannot do this without you. Especially my mom and dad who drop everything for us all the time. And my Jimmy, Jacks hero daddy. Youve sacrificed so much this year and have worn yourself out providing for our family and taking care of Jack and me when we need you most. I love you. Heres to 2015! We look forward to each day of the new year! God bless you all and best wishes for a healthy and happy new year. ⚓️
