Happy Republic Day !!! Republic Day is more significant than the Independence Day. Republic Day symbolizes the consolidating a federal structure for a Sovereign, Social, Secular Republic of India. Republic Day announces to the World that India is no more a cluster of Princely States. Thanks to the effort of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw, Sardar Patel and V. P. Menon, India became a democracy with the formation of Indian Union. Recently, I was in Rajastan and visited several Forts of the else-while Princely States. Still they are flying their Princely State flags, without the Indian National flag too flying at a taller mast in their fort, which is an anti-India move. Let us realize the importance of Republic Day and Celebrate it with much gaiety. Happy Republic Day to all my fb friends from India.
