Happy Solstice! Even in the darkest hour, there is hope for the return of the light. Sometimes it only takes one small act of kindness, selflessness, or generosity to lift a fellow human out of a dark place. If you have a light to shine, do so now. In this season of Christmas, we remember that Jesus Christ didnt just help those who could do something for him, he helped those in need of his help. We are now awash in the energy of Capricorn: industrious, determined, practical, grounded. This is the energy that helps us see the mountain top, and know we cannot stop. Persevere. Resist the urge to walk in the shadowside of Capricorn: negativity, pessimism, stubbornness, feelings of lack & poverty consciousness. Mercury- the planet of communication and also siblings:)- moves conjunct to Pluto and square Uranus Christmas day- play nice at your family gatherings! And with Saturn testing out the waters of its new position in Sagittarius, be prepared to back up any soap box speeches or political and spiritual ramblings with action. While it remains to be seen what Saturns two and a half year transit through Sagittarius brings, I am seeing it as a time to put concrete action to ideals. Musing and philosophizing must lead to action. While coffee shop discussions and social media posts can be consciousness raising, back up the talk and lofty ideals with action: sponsor a child in need, call your Congress people about an issue you have a stance on, commit to supporting local business in your community and not big box stores, etc. Walk the walk, dont just talk the talk. Saturn has a way of taking us to task: vigilance and effort is rewarded, laziness and carelessness gets the smack down. Whatever your issue is, get on it:) Sags will be feeling this keenly, as will Geminis, Pisces, and Virgos. But really this is universal energy that will shape us all. May you feel love, connection to all beings, and compassion both within your own heart, and the world around you. Miracles happen and change is always possible- especially at Christmastime:)
