Happy Sunday afternoon....The top panel (plastic) of my window blinds, in the bedroom, just broke...Not really surprised as they have been there for over 6 yrs. The sun shines directly on them 6 months of the year and they are plastic and brittle. I said a prayer and climbed up on the bed with a hammer, a twin sheet and a few nails between my teeth. Being on a queen size bed I figured if I were going to fall, it would be a soft landing. I didnt fall and now have a sheet covering the window as it could take a week or two for our maint. guys to get me another set. I do sometimes feel like a total loser but not today.
