Happy Sunday all, Just letting yall know that I am considering selling a set of 20 black T1000s I bought only about 3 or 4 weeks ago, as I have just got another set with carbon nuke proof hubs that I am slightly more in favour of using on my build. They are a really nice set laced to sealed black GT Mohawk hubs (super smooth). I am prepared to admit that Im on the fussy side with my T1000s (and bike parts in general - haha) and there are 1 or 2 spots that I would call slight defects. They were not mentioned to me when I bought them but I feel they are important to make mention of (its even possible the previous owner didnt even notice them). On very close inspection you see there are 2 spots on same side of the rear hoop where the flame tip has been slightly nicked (see photo). I would like to say, it is very minor and you do need to be right up examining them close to notice. The front is very clean in very good condition. The brake rub itself on the rear is only quite light and with a bit of care around the flame edges you with be able to polish it off and get these looking very nice (I have done it on a couple of sets previously). I would like to get back most of what it cost me to buy them, so if I am to end up selling them, I would like to get $250 plus actual postage anywhere in Oz. They will come with tubes and set of maxis holy roller tires with plenty of life left, + alloy valve caps. I can get some more photos for anyone genuinely interested in buying.
