Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Im trying to get through this holiday season. Its the first without my Daddy. He was always cooking all week getting ready today. I used to get so aggravated with him because he would send me back to grocery store 3 or 4 times a day. Daddy would ask more people to come eat and say , We have plenty of food yall come on and join us. Then I would hear that loud whistle and then DOOOODLE.!!!!!!! You forgot to pickup enough stuff soo get your ass to the store and dont take dittle, dattle, around Im standing here waiting. I get back and he laid back in his recliner asleep. Lord I miss that. Im sure there is tons of people in this world missing a loved one. But daddy wasnt just my daddy he was my best friend . We could finish each other thoughts and we each fought over the last word. Daddy its not going to be the same without you sitting at head of table telling us all about how hard you worked on this food. And that my sweet potato casserole was missing something because it wasnt good , but you always had extra. I love you and miss you terribly. Keep watching over me and my family until we meet again.
