Happy Thanksgiving everyone! So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. - Colossians 2:6-7 I am truly thankful for the cross that has saved me from the depth of my sins so that I can live with abundant joy as I have found a love greater than life itself and a hope stronger than anything this world can offer. I have been able to enjoy life more and more everyday as I live out the life I am called to rather than going with the flow and expectations of the world with its glitter that seems more and more pale in comparison to the surpassing greatness of knowing and loving our Lord Jesus Christ. As I grow in my love for others no matter how different or useless they are, I have experienced a love that is unconditional and enduring, full of forgiveness, patience, and kindness. Finally, the cross has given me the opportunity to powerfully experience Gods sovereignty as I have been able to overcome many of my weaknesses through my growing passion for the gospel that compels me to step out of my comfort zone to glorify His kingdom no matter how much the risk and cost involved. In this world, I only have one chance to live, and I am so thankful that God undeservedly loved us first by humbling Himself to die the lowliest of deaths to pay the penalty for our sins, so that I can live with faith, hope, and love as I look forward to the ultimate reward of glorification! -Wayne
