Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and their dogs/cats too! Our turkey is still frozen. Glenn had to work very long hours this week-- end of the month manufacturing push. But we did not want to make this an eating holiday anyhow. We are eating hamburgers tonight. We both have been craving a hamburger for the past month and probably have not eaten one in over a year. We are thankful for Katie coming into our home as a companion for our special needs dog Hildie. Without her we never would have discovered agility, the key to Hildies mental health, and all the wonderful folks we have met along the way. With our families so far away, we decided to spend the day doing what our dogs would most want to do. So we set up a course, played and then reset the course to what it was. Glenn did this course with Katie as if the whole course was behind the Chances line. This is Hildies 3rd NADAC Intro Jumpers VT run. If a Q, it will be her first ever agility title. We are thankful for NADAC, the VT program and the new Intro class ---- wonderful for a dog like Hildie. It is nice to have some do-able concrete goals when working with a dog like her.
