Happy Thursday, everyone! The Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit continues today with the Punk/Funk/Rock Gallery. There was more beadwork in this room then any of the others to date. Crazy stuff! It was hard to pick photos for you from this gallery, as there was so much! There was beading on army camouflage fabric; sequin, feather and beadwork on denim and wild beading on shirts, vests and jackets. I love the addition of tulle on the denim skirt...how fun is that? I just might pull out a denim jacket, and in my spare time, get to beading on it. I cant imagine the number of hours that have been spent on these amazing creations. A case in point, I spent all day yesterday designing a 2 inch diameter component! I hope you enjoy this beading extravaganza and get inspired to bead something fun. Have a great day!
