Happy birthday to ASI President Dr. Mina Ramirez, and all birthday celebrators in June and July! This video gives us a glimpse of the joyous spirit in ASI, spearheaded by the community women folks of Talim Island, one of the CSBCom sites where students learn about field exposure activities to theorize from experience. The KAmata womens organization was trained in Kulandong by Dr. Mina, and had evolved to become leaders in their own right, in their parishes, local schools, barangays and engage in disaster preparedness and mitigation, promoting the values of Christian Social Teachings actively. They are also active with the Mabuhay Balls promotion, and even at their age, show they can give a great show where the public may dance!
