Happy birthday to my old school mate Travis Prue - a loyal mate from school days and beyond. I looked back over what has made us great mates over the years - yes, sure were both sports nuts (cant help it if Trav follows Swans, Weagles, Yankees & the Redshite), but it goes beyond that. Trav was bought up with a family who imposed discipline, work ethic, honesty and loyalty. Knowing his parents as I do, they did this to ensure their kids all got the best out of themselves & life. They raised Trav above all to be a good person to others & himself!!! As a student, Trav made the disciplines and racrifices necessary (probably when some of us were out on the booze somewhere) & he has reaped rewards with a great job. He is a dedicated & loyal family man. Trav showed his honesty & reliability by being our treasurer at our 20 year reunion, collecting all the payments and looking after the money for us very well - its a job hell be offered again for upcoming reunions - including 25 year celebrations next year. Never an in-crowder or trendy sort of bloke, but Trav always got on well with people - we can catch up & laugh over old stories about old schoolmates & their antics. We laugh at silly things & above all, we have fun together!!! The one thing I cant thank Trav for enough though, is helping us reunite with our brother Jason Stuart Kamasz after several years - I was able to let Jase know thru Trav that we were always there for him. Finally when Jase was ready, we reconnected again - that brotherhood is now stronger than ever. Thanks Trav me ole china - as the saying goes - friends are like buttcheeks - no matter how much crap comes between them, theyll always come back together again!!!
