Happy birthday to my wonderful Mum Margaret Mills You have spent your life teaching me, helping me grow into a man, hopefully a good one? Youve taught me how to swim, ride a bike, catch, stand, walk, run, bounce, and you were always there to pick me up when I fell. You stood by and held your breath while I climbed a tree, smiling the whole time but dying a little inside until my feet were safely back on the ground. My whole life you have been protecting me, when I was young you kissed my grazed knees better and when I grew up you held my heart when it was breaking. Throughout my life you have worn so many badges, life giver, walking frame, speech therapist, aqua instructor, dinner lady, personal shopper, fashion advisor, cleaner, financial advisor and loan facility, tutor, nurse, confidant, critic, protector, enthusiast. Mother. Father. But what I only worked out recently is that you were my first, best and longest serving friend, youve always asked for nothing and given so much. You are the centre that the family revolves around. Happy birthday Mum, have an amazing day from your son, friend and one of your biggest fans. I love you xxx
