Happy birthday to someone I call Coach A couple years ago when I weighed at 240lbs Amanda Coursey randomly came up to me and ask if I wanted to jog the Blue Ridge Marathon. I looked at her and said I always wanted to jog marathon, just to say I jogged a marathon. So I got on the scale and it said I was 240lbs. I said to myself that I got work to do. I joined the same gym as Amanda, and she would push me, cheer me on in hitting my goals, give me advice, and made sure I wouldnt quit on her while we were in training. Due to family energies I didnt get the chance to jog that marathon. But I told myself that I will not quit training till I do jog a marathon. When Amanda found out I was doing the Marine Marathon, she was so proud of me and made sure all this year we got some good well worth jogs in. Amanda is one of main reasons I went from 240lbs and maintain a 190ish lbs frame... Amanda coach Coursey, I thank you for everything youve done. Im bless to have friends like you in my life.
