Happy days...... Jonjo is starting on the road to his forever home. Tomorrow he will leave Argos animal sanctuary in Ormideia, Cyprus. He will be fostered by Christine Goldsmith until he leaves Cyprus early July heading for his forever home in the UK. I found Jonjo at the beginning of March he was curled up in a ball and looked tiny. He never moved as I approched him. He was crawling in fleas & ticks. I rang Stella Stylianou at Argos and she agreed to take him in. I took him straight to the vets where he was treated for his infestation and also ear mites. He was very thin and estimated to be about 8 months old. While Jonjo has been at Argos he has been cared for by an amazing team of people who include Sandy Exley, Dennis Byrnes, Lee Hayward, and Dennis Baxter. Anne-Mari Helsing and her wonderful Norwegian sponsors at Support Argos have help with vet costs and to feed him. Jonjo settled in amazingly well and I visited him everytime I was at Argos. He is so very friendly with both people and dogs and doesnt mind the cats either. He lets me brush him, clean his ears and bath him. He plays with a ball, loves to run and loves to cuddle. I want to thank all the above people for everything they do, not just for Jonjo, but for everyone of those dogs that is under their care. It is a mammoth task and one I was well aware I was adding to by bringing in another dog. You are all amazing, thank you will never be enough.
