Happy ever after anniversary to 13 1/2 year old rescue boy Charlie. Two years ago today he came to live with us as a foster dog in the ECSCC Rescue Program. We were his fourth home... his previous owners said such nasty things about him I was seriously afraid to go bring him home! Charlie has proven to be a very sweet boy who loves company especially children! At 13 /2 he is in excellent health - no vision or hearing issues, no signs of stiffness or arthrititis. He trots around the yard like a youngster... just a little grey on his chin and that is all. Our vet did manage to track his history through his spay/neuter tattoo so we do know his age is correct. We were originally told he was three years younger than he actually was. Anyway, he is here to live out his golden years...
