Happy holidays, Kittatinny Rangers! A few announcements and reminders: No class on Tuesday, November 26 – As a reminder, there is NO CLASS next Tuesday. But … Student Dances – Please support our terrific students at two upcoming club dances at the student level: (1) Lakeland Squares, Tuesday, December 10 in Mountain Lakes; (2) Kittatinny Rangers, Friday, December 13 in Andover. We will be raided that evening by Reelers. All club members: Please bring an hors d’ouevre or dessert to our December 13 dance. Sunday, December 2 – Vass Farmstead (where Kittatinny held a demo in October) is having a FREE Christmas open house with German music, crafts, old-time German traditions, etc. from 2-5 PM. Address: 97 Stillwater Road, Hardwick. Thursday, December 5 – “A Christmas Carol” will be performed at Centenary College, 400 Jefferson Street, Hackettstown: 5:30 – dinner in college cafeteria, $8.50 per person (optional) 7:30 – performance, $27.50 for 2 people ... so come with a friend! RSVP – Barbara (201-919-4135) Saturday, December 7 – NNJSDA dance at First Presbyterian Church, 35 Church Street, Rockaway, from 7:30-10:30. Mike Callahan from New York is calling Mainstream and Plus, so bring your signature books. All club members: Kittatinny is co-hosting refreshments, so please bring finger food. Sunday, January 5 – Annual club holiday party! Dine and dance to Wayne’s calling at the Farmstead Country Club, 88 Lawrence Road, Lafayette, from 1:30-5:00. The cost is $30 per person, with discounts based on the number of Kittatinny dances attended this fall (refunds given at the party). Registration, meal selection, and payment are due to Bob by Friday, December 13.
