Happy new year everyone! Im not normally one for resolutions but I think i might make an exception this year. ..... quite simply to play more (and maybe to bring a toy out in my pocket each time I come down to London!) This beautiful old girl, Shani, was sitting with an old homeless gentleman outside euston tonight. I stopped for a minute to say hello and she quietly took a proffered treat, without really lifting her head. When I accidentally squeaked my pocket however, her ears shot up, eye contact was made and a little smile spread over not just one but two faces, three if you count mine! Safe to say Daylahs sprong now has a new playmate!! So sad yet so uplifting to see the difference just a bit of play can make so if you only have one new intention this year, please think about play. An extra game with your own dogs or taking a spare toy to your local rescue. It doesnt matter, just enjoy it, the dogs definitely will! Happy 2015 :-)
