Happy to share that Radio Kashmir Srinagar resumes its broadcast on Medium Wave.: Sept.20: Sheikh Sartaj to Sachnews Jammu Kashmir Station Director Rukhsana Jabeen, Humayun Qaisar, Rashid Nizami and Sakina Rather start the broadcast. After the Radio Kashmir building in Srinagar was submerged, and transmission breakdown for four days, the Station was functioning from a makeshift studio at Shanker Acharya on FM channel 102.6. The Station started a helpline since September 4. During the flood days this was the only means of communication and only media outlet functioning in the Valley. During the flood mayhem, Radio Kashmir rendered, and is rendering unimaginable and unparalleled services to people.
