Happy weekend everyone! If youre looking for something fun to do this weekend dont forget we are hosting a party in exchange for donations at The Charlie Allen fundraiser 3-4pm tomorrow. The fundraiser is being held at The Wheatsheaf on Dores Road, Stratton from 1pm. Charlie is a pupil at Beechcroft Infants School, he was recently diagnosed with Leukaemia and has two blood clots on the brain. He is currently undergoing investigative surgery and scans at John Radcliffe hospital, in Oxford. Charlie is neutrophilic, which means that he is practically house bound most days. Charlie’s friends and family have organised some fund raisers in order to raise money so they can buy him a decent wheelchair, a disabled car seat and educational toys and books etc. His friends and family have also announced that all funds raised will be used not only to fund Charlie Allen and his treatment, but the Great Western Hospital Childrens Ward Playroom and Teenagers Room as well.
