Heat win series 4-2. Heat now await the winner of the San Antonio Spurs vs. Oklahoma City Thunder series. Spurs lead series 3-2. In the NHL Western Conference Playoffs, Chicago Blackhawks have forced a Game 7 in the their series against the Los Angeles Kings with a 4-3 win Friday night. The winner of this series will advance to the Stanley Cup Finals and will face off against the New York Rangers. Some MLB news Friday: St. Louis Cardinals top prospect outfielder Oscar Taveras will be recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Saturday to join the big league club and is expected to be in the starting lineup Saturday. Boston Red Sox placed catcher/first baseman Ryan Lavarnway on the 15 day disabled list with a broken hamate bone in his left wrist. He is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with the injury. Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia exited the Red Sox game in the Top of the 10th inning Friday night with a right hand contusion. Pedroia hurt his hand on a stolen base by Will Myers in the second inning, John Farrell told reporters. Pedroia played through it for most of the game but was replaced by Jonathan Herrera in the Top of the 10th inning.
