Hard to believe Ive been on the road for over 4 months now. It has been quite the journey, full of beaches, sunsets, alligators and 3am wake up calls from the police. Most importantly, the thousands of smiling faces I have gotten to see and feel somewhat responsible for...... I played outside a symphony in Savannah and got cheers from a crowd old enough to be my grandparents. I pulled up to a club in DeLand while the band was on their break and ended up doing a 30minute set while everyone came out to watch. I pulled up completely unannounced to a wonderful little bar called OMaddys in Gulfport and ended up leaving with an entire family of caring people to call my friends. I got the privilege of performing for the sunset celebration at Pier 60 in Clearwater along side some incredible street performers/entertainers. I finally got to scratch off Key West from my list of the USA which leaves only Alaska yet to be explored. I showed up the the St. Pete Farmers Market as a squatter and ended up being featured as a weekly artist, not to mention the one time I got to take center stage. I struggled immensely just to make it down here and if it wasnt for the successful Kickstarter campaign I probably would have been in deep doo-doo. But on Dec 31st the Sun finally came out and the success I had on New Years has continued over these last few months and from the bottom of my heart I thank everyone who helped make it possible. I managed to stay very productive and have taken some major steps towards releasing some new music as well as in living a more healthy lifestyle. Ive been soda/coffee free for over 3 months, strictly veggies for 3 months and managed to find the time to exercise and help keep this ticker going a little longer. Hard to believe Ill be home in just a few days. Farmers market in Tampa tomorrow and then a 15hr drive back to STL! Ill be doing a little tour of the midwest in the middle of May and then off to the Rockies in June. Super excited, but it is all in preparation of something even bigger. Ive been struggling a little bit on where to explore next, but I feel Ive decided on NYC. Its time to invade this city that never sleeps and show the entire world what a simple country boy is really capable of. Cheers!
