Hard to believe it was a year ago today we hit the lake for some fishing with Dad. It reminds me to stop and love on the people you care about around you while you can. Tomorrow isnt promised. I miss my dad like crazy and still havent come to grips that hes not around. Im truly glad I had a day where it was supposed to be 100 degrees but, some cloud cover mysteriously set up above the boat we were in and made it easier on us. I didnt pick up pole. I held a camera and laughed and smiled for a couple hours watching dad forget he was sick. I know he enjoyed watching Ben catch one striper after another and we limited out 30 minutes after we stopped to fish. July 23rd 2013 will always be one of those memories I will never soon forget.
