Hard to believe its been 13 years since the 9/11 attacks in New York City; shortly after, Alan Jackson wrote a song called Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning? I remember well where I was so heres my story. It started out as a normal day, I was having breakfast with my grandfather at the local café and the waitress came out and said that a plane hit the World Trade Center; well, we all passed it off as just a plane crash and didnt really think anything of it. After we ate, it was time for me to get to class at Cisco Junior College, I got up there a little early so I went in the SUB (Student Union Building) and when I went in there, everyone was gathered around the television and I mean EVERYONE (teachers, janitors, etc.), students even stopped their pool games to watch this all unfold on TV, this was about the time the second plane crashed and thats when I knew this was real, there was even a small feeling of fear in me, like that feeling of security had been taken away. One year later, I actually got to travel to New York and see Ground Zero and then I realized what an impact this had on a lot of people. This is a commercial that Budweiser made after 9/11, lest we forget.
