Harry, my horse, is sick. This morning he was did not want to eat his grain and had a temp of a little over 101. I had the vet out a about 2 hrs later and his temp was up to 103. Vet drew blood and gave him something for the fever and had me turn him back in the pasture. He started to eat grass and drink water so the vet told me to leave him out as long as no rain. This evening he ate most of his grain but his fever is up to 104.4. I gave him bute and talked to the vet. Will have the blood work back tomorrow and hopefully be able to figure out what is wrong.
