Harry potter debates that annoy me: Philosophers stone vs Sorcerers stone Come on people its the same book we all know and love. So they changed one word for the sake of marketing, you know what I understand. Maybe they thought a country that grew up with books like the sorcerers apprentice would be more likely to go to a book with that word in the title I mean come on, some of us started reading hp at 8 and so on and I dont know about you but when I thought about philosopher at that age I thought of some boring old guy. It doesnt change the essence of the book nor does it make a country dumb because they had to change the name. Buy whichever title you like, call it whatever name you like, but dont look down on other fans for their preference, some grew up with a philosopher and some grew up with a sorcerer. ~winky
