Hartford County, CT X*X*X* HOME OR FOSTER NEEDED ASAP...HOMELESS FOR 5 WEEKS X*X*X* 24 HOURS LEFT!!!!!! I received a call tonight from a guy who has been homeless for 5 weeks. Him and his dog have been living in there car and has been leaving his 3-4 year old female pit on a friends porch during the day while at work. The friend told him that yesterday would be the last day she could stay because neighbors are calling the police due to the dog barking. I was able to buy her one more day (8/9/13) of staying on the porch and then he does not know what to do with her....he cannot leave her in a hot car while at work. He has tried to surrender her to different shelters but as always, they are full! He even made a comment about possibly having to "leave her tied up somewhere and hope for the best". He even said if someone was willing to hold her u til he gets on his feet, he would take her back! She is spayed and UTD in vaccs. Good with people/kids...said she barks at other dogs...."curiously not aggressively". PLEASE let me know if anyone can help!!!! Time is running out!!!!!! PLEASE TEXT/CALL ME - 860-622-9775
