Has NASA found evidence of life of Saturns moon Titan? It is not - TopicsExpress

Has NASA found evidence of life of Saturns moon Titan? It is not definate, but something is going on there that currently cannot be explained. The Cassini Space Probe orbiting Titan sent down a probe to the surface of Titan. On the way down through the atmosphere, it found hydrogen in the upper atmosphere, the middle atmosphere, but not much on the surface. It is believed that Hydrogen, an abundant element in Titans atmosphere, would be the primary element breathed by life on the surface rather than the mix of nitrogen and oxygen mixture we breathe. ( If you were a space explorer on Titan, you would not need a space suit, just a mask like a scuba diver and a really, really warm coat.) So assuming that any life form evolving on the surface of Titan would breathe hydrogen, scientists began studying how hydrogen moves through the atmosphere and on the surface. What they found is that the hydrogen flows in the atmosphere seem to disappear at the surface. The question is, what is consuming this hydrogen? That is the question NASA will try and answer in the very near future. The prospects of finding life are very encouraging.
