Has anyone but me noticed how high groceries have become? I know that it is the American way for everything to always increase in price, never goes down, but it seems that in the last 6 months, prices in grocery stores have soared. There was a day, not long ago, that in my observation, one could go to the store and your groceries would average $25.00 per sack. That was a paper sack and held more than the plastic bags of today. Just ran a test the other day and had the store put my groceries in paper bags again. The bags averaged over $45.00 per sack. I surely so not see salaries keeping up with inflation in the grocery stores or in any other areas either. I guess we have finally reached the point that we are programed to accept it. Well, maybe all is not lost since I know the government will come up with an entitlement program for us all.
