Has anyone here ever bin to sea ?...Arrrrrrr Billy ..We went on a 1000 island cruise yesterday the St . Lawrence. The swells were 15-20 ft high...waves were crashing over the ship ...The nose would disappear under the mighty sea.She lost a door on the bottom deck...tables chairs and passengers were tossed about like toys....The bar lost all its booze as natures rath...muscled hee about...whiskey bottles salt and pepper shakers shattering. ..people puking from one end of the vessel to the other...vomiting on tables the floor every where !...We were in a window seat on the 2nd level waves slamming into the glass constantly soaking us as there was a gap between the window and the frame. ..People were screaming ...we were laughing and holding on for dear life... ( the rail I was holding broke)...Our table almost fell over a few times ...Our chairs pulled out from under us a few times...3 HOURS of horror on the high seas. .The last half hour was the most exciting as She listed from side to side as well as up and down...We stood our ground until almost the very end then all of a sudden without warning we too lost our cookies. .Debbie puked first !...into a cup me second !... ( bragging rights)...we were ok after that and continued the journey laughing and holding on for deer life...as we approached the docking area at the end of our journey a huge swell lifted the ship up on to her side.tipping tables and throwing some passengers onto the floor. .. ( us not included)...having good reflexes in tilted my chair back as buckets of vomit crashed across our table and onto the floor.After docking it was time to get off (figuratively speaking)....passengers were still puking the floor was covered in vomit broken glass overturned tables and chairs. ...slip sliding our way we exited the ship to the parking lot where people upchucked all over the place....we went out for dinner on the way home !!!
