Has it ever happened with you that you are left wondering if life has something up its sleeve which will be sprung at you as a surprise at the most inopportune moment - when you are least expecting it - and you wont be able to take that (hurt / pain/ betrayal) anymore - for it will sound your death-knell? This is FEAR - fear of the unknown, fear of some suspicion coming true, and fear of emotional/ physical death. This fear keeps your heart so gripped that it is unable to beat freely - unable to access LOVE freely. You become hypersensitive, suspicious, distrustful and fearful. What is the solution to this problem? How does one get out of this catch 22 situation? (It is Catch 22, for our fears draw those situations to us that we fear. We willy-nilly attract those situations into our life.) The only solution that I see is that of SURRENDER. Every cell (out of the trillions that we are made of) is in a state of surrender. It KNOWS that its life is directed by the same force that makes the heart beat, the lungs breathe, and the hair/ nails grow. It TRUSTS that the innate intelligence of the body knows what it is doing. That is why the cell can relax and be at peace. It can do its job without thinking of the results thereof. When we have FAITH and when we TRUST that we cannot control or fix any outcome - however hard we may try to avoid / control and fix it, we come into SURRENDER. We realize that trying to control an outcome is neither our business nor within our power...It is Gods business. There is a LARGER COSMIC PLAN and EVERYTHING is happening in accordance with that plan. If something has to happen it will - because it will be for our LARGER GOOD. There is no point fretting about it or losing sleep over it. SURRENDER is nothing but letting go of the desire to control an outcome. It is about TRUST in the wisdom of the Universe. It is about FAITH that whatever happens happens only for our collective growth and evolution. It happens because it is needed. Do you believe in the power of surrender? I DO....
