Has it really been 28 years? In a way, it seems like just yesterday when Emory was picking on me on the FBC youth bus. Yet, in other ways it seems like an eternity since Ive heard his voice or saw that grin. Emory Smith, you truly are loved and missed by everyone you touched. I can still clearly hear you sing the line, my life and my love, I leave in your hands, Ill gladly perform as your will demands. I know its not much, your gift to repay, but its all I can give and all I can say is that Im yours Lord, try me now and see, see if I can be completely yours. I loved you like a brother then and I do still. I cant wait to hug you so tight when I see you again!!
