If any of the above apply to you and you would like to find some information on what is currently available to help you with this then Abbots Langley Children’s Centre is able to support you. The Children’s Centre is hosting a course called ‘Get That Job’ which gives practical help, tips and support with CVs and the ‘dos and ‘don’ts’ of interviews. You can get practical help in understanding job opportunities; the value you will bring to employers; how to communicate better; how to deal with stress, get resilient and how to stay motivated – the 3 characteristics of success. The course is free and is for 6 weeks - a free crèche is available (booking required). The course starts on Monday 10th November at 12:45pm – 2:45pm and every Monday thereafter until 15th December. Alternatively, if you would like any information on what else is available then please come along to the Children’s Centre on Friday 24th October between 10:00am and 11:30am for coffee and pastries and an informal chat.
