Ghosties & Ghoulies Tour Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:30 pm $10 per soul ($5 for kids 12 and under) The classic Haunted Hike experience, with wonderful tales for a summer of ghoulishness! An ambulatory theatrical tour through the historic and haunted streets of St. John’s downtown core, with old fashioned storytelling at its dramatic and spine-tingling best. It offers a compelling mix of drama, passion, horror, humour and suspense, guaranteed to provide an unforgettable night of chills and thrills. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . GENERAL NOTES ON ALL TOURS Sunday to Thursday, tours start from the West Entrance to the Anglican Cathedral on Church Hill, St. John’s at 9:30 pm. On street parking is available nearby. The Haunted Hike lasts approximately an hour and a quarter. The tour ends back at the starting point at the Anglican Cathedral, and is not wheelchair accessible. Newfoundland weather can be hard to predict, but the tour will go ahead regardless of clear skies, drizzle, cold, and especially fog! Dress appropriately, wear comfortable walking shoes, and come with a willingness to believe. The stories you will hear, no matter how horrific, are all true… Please remember to keep St. John’s clean! Leave any trash in appropriate litter bins. Is the Haunted Hike suitable for children? The Haunted Hike does contain stories that are frightening, or else it wouldn’t be the Haunted Hike! As a result, it may not be suitable for young children. While a general recommendation may be that the Hike is suitable for children over the age of 8, parents or guardians are encouraged to talk to their kids beforehand and to make sure they are up for a night of ghoulish tales. After that, if you have to ask, “Is my child ready for this?” then the answer is probably no. Of the two tours, the “Ghosties and Ghoulies” tour is more family friendly. Pricing and Family Rates The ticket price is $10 per person, ($5 for kids 12 and under) There is no need to book in advance for a regular night tour, tickets are cash sale only. Just show up, and pay your ghoulish guide at the start of the tour.
