Havdalah means to distinguish or differentiate. It is a ceremony that is performed at the conclusion of Shabbat, to distinguish the Shabbat from the rest of the week. As we extinguish the flames of the Havdahlah candle, we do not look back, but rather we look ahead, because we know that G-d is granting us another Holy Sabbath in just a matter of days. May your week be one filled with G-d’s love, His guidance and His wisdom. Let us spend our week in preparation for the upcoming Sabbath, one that will be filled with study, worship, fellowship and of course, rest. Here’s to a Shavua tov (Good Week)!!!
