Have I ever mentioned how proud I am of my wife, Lynn Bradley Clogston? Shes an EMT with the Warren-Wentworth Ambulance Service. Were currently on vacation in Portland, Maine. While we were looking for our hotel this afternoon we stopped at a railroad crossing and saw a woman lying by the side of the road, having apparently just wrecked her bicycle. There were three people there with her, but it was clear even to me that none of them knew anything except to get out their cell phones and call 911. Lynn asked me if she should get out and help, but the answer was obvious. She got out and went over while I parked the car and waited. She took control of the scene until an ambulance came to get the injured woman. Then we hopped back in the car and got back to our vacation. I just wanted to give a shout-out to all you first responders out there. Keep on keepin on.
