Have a daughter, granddaughter or niece that is between the ages of 10-12? Sign them up today for the Girls Outdoors (GO!) Workshop at Cumberland Mountain State Park Oct. 4. The workshop, held from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., will highlight outdoor exploration, career pathways and a strong foundation in the natural world. The day will feature hands-on science activities, talks with professional women in the outdoor field and adventurous surprises to create lasting memories.
