Have a friend with a question about one of his fur-babies who started exhibiting an odd gait this evening. If anyone has any ideas, Id appreciate hearing them. Here is the text from his post: Any vet friends online who may have an opinion on a sudden change in Sheldons gait (only on his rear legs)? He has goofy legs, although he has had no changes in his diet, exercise, or routine. It started around 5:30pm EST this evening and has become more visible since then. He is currently on Flagyl and a strict, limited ingredients diet for his diarrhea issues (from last month ... things have improved) and has a follow-up appointment scheduled at the vet tomorrow for those issues. By the way, we checked his feet and did not see anything unusual with them (no twigs, no dirt, no sores, no splinters, etc.). He had been licking one of his rear feet, which is not unusual for him, but I did not see any exposed skin from his habitual licking. I also attempted to massage his legs, thinking they may be asleep, but that (combined with keeping him active and getting the blood flowing) did not have any positive affect.
