Have a lot of old, leftover paint from various projects around the house? I just discovered an easier solution for getting rid of it. Instead of waiting for your towns hazmat collection date (which I never seem to catch), check out paintcare.org. Its a non-profit program currently available in Connecticut, California, Oregon and Rhode Island and expanding into more states in the future. Type in your zip code and you get a list of participating locations that will accept old paint. I was amazed at how many there were. A lot of paint and hardware stores right nearby. Just thought I would pass this along. Great idea. Guess Ill go do some more painting....
