Have always prided myself on being a strong, self-disciplined, in-control man who has been able to fight off most addictions through faith and willpower. I only say these things because I am now cursing Game of Thrones for making me powerless to fight back against its ruthless, relentless siege on my leisure time. This show is so addicting that I forget that King Joffrey is just an actor and that only in television fantasy does it not pay to be kind to others or have any redeeming value. Why do I obsess (Ill just watch one more episode before I have to grade some papers...and say the same thing four episodes later) about a show that rewards total disregard of integrity and kills off every character with a shred of decency? Curse HBO for presenting the show and forcing me to re-subscribe for Season Four!
