Have had doctor around today. Drip out, tubes off which is great, physio and soeech therapy tom, been moved into ICU ward (down graded), bp coming down, sugars ok, dyalisis levels bit weird today but good overall. So im trying to focus on all the positives, but I guess maybe ive been down playing the seriousness of it all.....my coping mechanism?? I said to doc how long till I can go home? Its only a mild stroke. He said sternly, nothing mild about it, u had a stroke, no way im clearing you for home anytime soon. Im hating the reality of.....oh god.....I HAD A STROKE. I know its rediculous to think of going home, I just want my kids and my life back. So much time away from them. Bit flat today, frustrated with speech, just need to accept it. Was happy to see dad, beautiful kaz, hayley, sharyn and had perfect smiles from myah just before she fell asleep, holding onto those special moments helps.....xxxx
